Welcome to dotSlash 5.0, Aatmatrisha's flagship hackathon! To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants, it's important to familiarize yourself with the rules and guidelines of the event. Here's an overview of the key rules you need to know:
General Rules
- A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 members are allowed to form a team
- Hackathon will start at 8:00am on 23 March(tentatively).
- Particpants are advised to come to the venue at least half an hour before
- Meals and Refreshments will be given to the participants at appropriate times, participants don't have to bring their own food
- Participants are required to make a public repository with their team name and give a tag of dotslash5 and their team-name.
- Any team found to involve themselves in any kind of malpractice/plagiarism is directly disqualified without any further questions.
- Participants should present their solution to the given problem statement with a working prototype and a PPT presentation to the judges after the final prototype development stage.
- Decisions taken by the judges are final. No further clarifications would be entertained.
- Judging will be based on the below-mentioned parameters: innovativeness, feasibility, creativity, and future scope of the presented solution.
- Participants can only enter if they are registered for the competition and have to show their college ID cards as and when requested by the organizing team. The hard copy of the consent letters signed by their parents will have to be provided on the day of the event.
- No Aatmatrisha member is responsible for the safety of the participant's belongings.
Before coming to the hackathon
- Once you have registered, you will have to pay a fee of Rs. 600 per team.
- The team will be marked as attended only after the payment is completed.
- You will also have to present your ID card before entering the venue.
- After coming to the hackathon, you will have to create a new GitHub repository and start working in the repository.
- The GitHub repository's history will be viewed to make sure there is no kind of malpractice involved.
- He/She repository should contain tags with the team name(example: Team 1 will put tag

During Hackathon
- Once the participant enters, he/she will not be allowed to leave the premises until the event has concluded.
- There will be reviews conducted and you can contact any of the mentors assigned to your track to ask for any advice.
- If the participant has to leave, then he/she has to contact one of the organisers and inform them. They can only leave once the organiser confirms that they can do so.
- The top 10 teams will be then decided based on the reviews conducted by the mentors.
Disqualification
- Participants may be disqualified for violating the rules or engaging in any form of cheating or misconduct.
- Disqualified teams are not eligible for prizes or recognition.
Changes to Rules
- The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the rules and guidelines at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes.
